1. Introduction
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of SkankOut#, including our website, livestream platform, DJ streams, chatrooms, user accounts, community features and related services.
By using SkankOut#, creating an account, joining a chatroom, watching a livestream, linking a social account or otherwise accessing the platform, you accept these Terms of Use in full.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use SkankOut#.
SkankOut# is built as a livestream platform for DJs, artists, selectors, music lovers and community members who want to take back control of the online music experience.

3. Accounts and Registration
To use certain parts of SkankOut#, you may need to create an account. When creating an account, you agree that:
- the information you provide is accurate and not misleading;
- you will not impersonate another person, DJ, brand, artist or community member;
- you are responsible for keeping your login details secure;
- you are responsible for activity that happens through your account;
- you will not create accounts to evade bans, mutes, suspensions or other moderation actions.
We may refuse, suspend, restrict or terminate accounts at our discretion if we believe an account violates these Terms, creates risk for the platform, harms the community or attempts to bypass moderation.
4. Data Used for Moderation, Security and Ban Enforcement
To operate SkankOut#, protect the community, moderate the chatroom and website, prevent abuse and enforce bans, we collect and store certain account and technical information.
This may include: your name, username or display name; your email address; IP address or IP addresses used to access SkankOut#; linked social account names, handles, profile IDs or account IDs; chatroom activity, moderation actions, warnings, bans, reports and abuse-prevention records; technical logs needed for security, moderation and platform protection.
By registering for SkankOut#, you acknowledge and accept that this information may be stored and used for moderation, security, abuse prevention and ban enforcement.
If you are banned, muted, restricted or suspended, you may not attempt to bypass that action by creating another account, using a different email address, changing IP address, linking a different social account or otherwise disguising your identity.
5. Registration Checkbox Wording
I accept the SkankOut# Terms of Use and understand that SkankOut# stores my name/username, email address, IP address(es), and linked social account name(s)/ID(s) for account security, website/chatroom moderation, abuse prevention and ban enforcement.
I understand that SkankOut# may restrict or ban users based on username, email address, IP address, linked social account identifiers, or other moderation/security signals.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
Unless otherwise stated, SkankOut# or its licensors own the intellectual property rights in the platform, website, design, branding, logos, trademarks, software, interface, original written materials and platform features. All rights are reserved.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, sell, rent, sublicense, redistribute or exploit SkankOut# materials unless we have given you permission or the material is expressly made available for that purpose.
7. Licence to Use the Website
You may view and use SkankOut# for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.
You must not: republish material from SkankOut# without permission; sell, rent or sublicense platform content; copy, duplicate or exploit platform content for commercial purposes; modify SkankOut# materials without permission; scrape, harvest, mirror or systematically collect data from the platform without written consent; use the platform in a way that damages, overloads or disrupts SkankOut#.
8. DJ Streams, Music and Livestream Content
SkankOut# allows DJs, artists and users to stream, share or perform music and related content. If you livestream, upload, post or otherwise share content through SkankOut#, you are responsible for making sure you have the rights, licences or permissions needed to do so.
We may remove, mute, restrict or disable streams or content if we believe they violate these Terms, infringe rights, create legal risk or harm the platform.
8.5 Registration Joke — One-Time AI Image Processing
During registration, if you upload a profile picture, SkankOut# may process it through an AI service (Venice AI / seedream-v4) exactly once to create a humorous modified version (digital sunglasses and joint added). This is a one-time registration easter egg. The original and modified images are stored with your account. You can change your profile picture at any time afterward. By uploading a profile picture during registration, you consent to this one-time AI processing. No personal data beyond the image itself is shared with the AI provider.
9. User Content
You grant SkankOut# a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, transmit, display, moderate, adapt for technical delivery and distribute your user content as needed to operate, promote, protect and improve the platform.
You confirm that your user content: is not illegal; does not infringe third-party rights; does not contain malware or malicious links; does not harass, threaten or abuse others; does not expose private information without permission; does not create legal risk for SkankOut#.
We may edit, hide, restrict, remove or disable access to any user content at our discretion.
10. Chatroom Rules and Community Behaviour
SkankOut# is for music, livestreams, culture and community. Don't be the person who kills the dance.
You must not use SkankOut# to: harass, threaten, stalk, bully or abuse others; post hate speech or discriminatory content; spam, flood or derail chatrooms; impersonate another person, DJ, brand or moderator; share private personal information without consent; post scams, phishing links or malicious content; encourage violence, self-harm or illegal activity; attack, exploit or disrupt the platform; bypass moderation, bans or account restrictions; create multiple accounts to manipulate chat, evade bans or abuse the service.
We may moderate chatrooms and platform activity using human review, technical systems, reports, account history and security signals.
Moderation actions may include warnings, message deletion, mutes, temporary restrictions, permanent bans, IP blocks, social-account-based restrictions or account termination.
11. Acceptable Use
You must not use SkankOut# in any way that causes, or may cause, damage to the platform or impairment of the availability, accessibility, security or performance of the platform.
You must not upload, transmit, send, publish or distribute material that contains or links to spyware, malware, viruses, trojans, worms, keyloggers, rootkits or other harmful software.
You must not conduct automated data collection, scraping, data mining, extraction, harvesting or similar activity without our express written permission.
12. No Warranties
SkankOut# is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that the platform will always be available; livestreams will be uninterrupted; chat will always work perfectly; the website will be free from bugs or errors; all information on the platform will be complete, accurate or up to date.
Streams may lag. Servers may wobble. Chat may get spicy. Tech can get wonky.
We will try to keep the platform running properly, but we do not promise perfection.
13. Limitations of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, SkankOut# will not be liable for indirect, special or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform.
14. Breaches of These Terms
If you breach these Terms, we may take any action we consider appropriate, including: issuing a warning; deleting content; muting chat access; restricting account features; suspending your account; permanently banning your account; blocking IP addresses; restricting linked social accounts; contacting service providers where necessary; taking legal action where appropriate.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will apply from the date they are published on SkankOut# unless stated otherwise. You should check this page regularly to make sure you are familiar with the current version. Continued use of SkankOut# after changes are published means you accept the updated Terms.
16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes relating to these Terms or your use of SkankOut# will be subject to the courts of the Netherlands.
